NCRI recognizes training as the main pillar for constant improvements in the delivery of health care. Hence, since its inception in 2011, NCRI has conducted many training sessions for doctors internally as well as externally. Training sessions include advances in neonatology, recent publications and skill based training. NCRI also encourages problem based learning in order to help the health care professionals in solving various clinical problems faced in day to day practice.
Apart from medical training, NCRI training sessions include:
- Communication skills for doctors
- Professionalism and practice
- Team work and challenges
- Emergencies and Human factors
- Research methodologies
NCRI has also created a platform where Pediatricians and Neonatologists can share knowledge with each other. The group has successfully hosted national level courses like “Neonatal Emergencies Simulation Training” in association with National Neonatology Forum, India.
Also, NCRI started a hugely popular, unique CME program called “HORIZON”. This is an annually recurring platform where faculty with incredible credentials in the field of neonatology internationally, come to share their experience with their Indian counterparts and propose new areas of engagement in the future research.
